High School Overview

2023-24 Yearly Scripture Theme: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mark 12:30

Each school year a theme is thoughtfully chosen based upon a passage of scripture that we believe will enhance and strengthen the culture at Delaware Christian School. The theme and scripture are then purposely and strategically woven into every aspect of our school from classroom instruction, to Bible studies, athletics, weekly chapels, and discipleship groups, to name a few.

Another important ingredient woven into our DCS culture is the what we call “The DCS Way.”  This is one of our driving forces in all that we do at Delaware Christian School.

●    D:      Demonstrate Your Faith

●    C:      Care For Others More Than Yourself

●    S:      Study to the Best of Your Ability

The culture of DCS is very important to us.

A major focus at DCS is academic excellence with a biblical worldview. We place a high value on our students performing academically to the best of their abilities. We work to instill integrity; organizational skills; effective study skills and habits. A Biblical worldview is prevalent throughout all of our curriculum and instruction.
