Why I came to DCS:

After plenty of prayer and encouragement from family and friends, I decided to join DCS to become part of a team that speaks and exemplifies truth to our community's youth. Our institution exists to glorify God and to properly guide children in the ways that are taught in the Bible. Our current society is crumbling all around us. Our kids are being lied to every day by popular culture. The state of our world is frightening, but we as Christians are tasked to steward the Lord's creation and act as ambassadors to His Kingdom. It is imperative that Biblical teaching be at the center of academics-- even Art (especially Art!) "For we are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." [Ephesians 2:10] I am honored and in awe to have been led to work at DCS, where I can communicate freely, lovingly, and truthfully to my students and my coworkers.

When I was younger I wanted to:

be an artist, a singer, and a ballerina!

Hobbies/Interests outside of DCS:

Drawing and painting with my children, reading, gardening, hiking, yoga, and visiting museums, zoos, and parks with my family!
