Why I came to DCS:

My husband was transferred with his company to the Columbus area in 2022, and I was on the lookout for a Christian school to enroll our oldest daughter, as she was preparing for Pre-K. In the midst of this transition for our family, I was in fervent prayer about where God wanted to use me. Though my entire schooling from Kindergarten-college was at a Christian school, my entire teaching career was in a charter/public school setting. I begged God to open the door to the school that He willed for me to be in, and it just so happened that DCS was hiring. I received an e-mail response shortly after inquiring about open positions. DCS has been a tremendous blessing to me and my entire family, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is God's plan for me in this season of life.

When I was younger I wanted to:

be a teacher since I was in second grade, mostly due to my second grade teacher who frequently passed out gummy bears to us for our hard work in class.

Hobbies/Interests outside of DCS:

Spending time with my family, meeting up for brunch with friends, travelling, vacationing at the beach, reading, frequenting coffee shops, rooting for my favorite football teams (THE Ohio State Buckeyes & Cleveland Browns), creating photo books
