Why I came to DCS:

I am from the Lewis Center area and actually attended DBC as a kid. I went to college in VA and my husband and I moved to GA for a year after we were married. When we decided to come home, I reached out to Albany (who I knew from my childhood and was, at the time the band & choir director) and asked if there were any part-time Christian school band jobs open in the area. Turns out the day before, she decided to do choir only and her band position was opening! Already being familiar with DCS and with how clear God orchestrated the band job opening, it was such an easy decision coming here!

When I was younger I wanted to:

I knew in 6th grade I wanted to be a band director so I’m going to share my other dream job instead. I would love to move to Alaska and work as an EMT at a ski resort!

Hobbies/Interests outside of DCS:

I make my own wood pens in my wood shop and I love to snowboard and wakeboard.
