Why I came to DCS:

I attended DCS as a student from 2nd grade through graduation. I loved the Christ-centered environment and the family-like atmosphere. After I graduated from Cedarville, I began teaching at Delaware City Schools. Later, I spent a few years as a stay-at-home mom with my two kids. When the principal of DCS gave me a call to ask me if I was interested in joining the high school staff, I was excited about the opportunity. After a lot of prayer, I realized that I had the chance to make an impact on students the way my teachers had impacted me. I was excited to be able to incorporate biblical truths into my English lessons and speak the life-giving words of the Bible in my classroom. Since being at DCS, I feel blessed to spend my time with an amazing staff and a great group of students.

When I was younger I wanted to:

be a graphic designer or own a farm.
