Prov. 3:5-6 (ESV) - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Micah 6:6-8 (ESV) - "With what shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?” He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Why I came to DCS:
My children started attending DCS, and I loved the school. I always thought I'd go back to teaching public school after being a stay-at-home mom, but the music position opened here at DCS, and I felt led that this is the place the Lord wanted me to be. I love the opportunity to sing to the Lord, and praise Him and talk about Him during my teaching, and I am so blessed to be able to teach my own children as well.
When I was younger I wanted to:
I really wanted to work at Taco Bell and be a dentist when I was a kid, but as I grew older, my parents are both music teachers, and my grandfather was a music teacher as well. I love music, and I love teaching, so it made it an easy decision--music teacher!
Hobbies/Interests outside of DCS:
Music! Also reading, hiking the Grand Canyon, and keeping bees and chickens.
