Originally From:

Born in Bowling Green, Ohio and lived in Toledo until I was five. After moving I attended Gahanna Jefferson Public School for K through grade 12.

Why I came to DCS:

I started my teaching career in Marion City. Following the birth of my oldest son, I left to serve my family as a stay at home mom. My original plan was to wait until all of my children were in school until I went back into teaching. God had a different plan! After having our youngest daughter, I learned of a part-time art position at a Christian school. It was earlier than I had planned on returning, but it was made clear to me that this was a part of His perfect timing. DCS has been a wonderful place to serve on staff, as well as a fantastic opportunity for my children. I absolutely love teaching in a school where I can speak freely of the Lord's mercy, love, and grace!

Hobbies/Interests outside of DCS:

Drawing, painting, photography, crafting, scrapbooking, cooking, baking, gardening, playing games with my family, playing in the snow with my kids, relaxing on the beach.
