Trunk & Treat Event ~ October 29

Trunk or Treat is brought to you by Delaware Bible Church and Delaware Christian School. (Children walk around and play various games which are setup in the trunks of cars in order to win candy.) It is mandatory for all Student Council members to work Wednesday evening, October 29. Each class will also need several volunteers to help run the games and give out the candy. Please have them sign up in homeroom the week of October 13, so we know who to expect. All volunteers will be served a hot dog dinner. Students are permitted to wear an appropriate costume - no devil, ghost or provocative outfits. **Remember, this event is designed not just as an outreach to the community, but to also build a stronger relationship between the school and church bodies. Therefore, we would like a large turnout of DCS students. We are also asking that all junior and senior high students participate by bringing in at least one bag of candy. All candy must be individually wrapped and factory sealed. Homemade treats and fruit are not allowed. Candy will be collected in homeroom starting Monday, Oct. 20. Volunteers should arrive at 6:00. The event is from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Thank you for serving the community.
