Liberty Field receives badly needed parking lot improvement

The final touches to parking space striping were added recently to complete improvements to the athletic field parking lot off Liberty Road. The lot had become somewhat of an obstacle course of potholes and broken asphalt through the spring softball season making maneuvering and parking a challenge. Through the generosity of Liberty Castings, whose employees use the lot during the day, the holes were filled and a new surface course of asphalt overlay was installed across the entire parking area, and at no cost to Delaware Christian School. The parking spaces were also adjusted to provide improved site distance for vehicles to safely pull out onto Liberty Road.
