Inclement Weather Procedure

In the event of inclement weather, DCS will follow the procedures outlined below:
- DCS will operate either on a 1 hour delay or close for the entire day. The delayed start time will be 9:30 a.m. Students will not be allowed to enter campus before 9:00 a.m.
- DCS will use the One Call system to announce all closings or delays. Announcements will also be posted on the DCS website and Facebook page.
- We will only post information to WBNS-TV 10 regarding DCS closings and delays. Parents can sign-up for automatic text updates through the WBNS-TV 10 website.
- DCS will make every effort to communicate inclement weather announcements by 6:15 a.m.
