Homecoming activities

This year’s Homecoming theme is Candyland. Hallway decorating for grades 7-12 may take place only on Friday, January 17 from 3:30-9 p.m. and Monday, January 20 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. under the supervision of Chandra Ruminski (due to Monday being a holiday). Homecoming week students may wear appropriate, modest clothing to represent the day’s theme. Dress-up days for 7-12 grade students:
Tuesday, 01/21: Candyland Character – no jeans
Wednesday, 01/22: Nerd vs Jock Day – no jeans
Thursday, 01/23: Superhero/Villain Day – no jeans
Friday, 01/24: DCS Spirit Day –DCS spirit colors or school sport team uniform; no jeans
If a student is not wearing the correct clothing he/she must wear an approved DCS uniform. Any student in violation of this rule will serve a detention. Please be certain items are modest and in good taste. If the student is in doubt, don’t wear it.
The homecoming dinner for grades 9-12 and staff members will be held on Friday, January 24, at Country Gatherings (2866 State Route 203, Radnor) from 7-11 p.m. Tickets will be on sale starting January 7 during the lunch period. The ticket price will be $20 and includes dinner with entertainment by Jon Koloff and Emilie Rogers.

- Middle School Girls vs. Wellington @ 12:00 p.m.
- Middle School Boys vs. Wellington @ 2:00 p.m.
- *Varsity Girls vs. Wellington @ 4:00 p.m.
- *Junior Varsity Boys vs. Wellington @ 6:00 p.m.
- Homecoming Court @ 7:15 p.m.
- Varsity Boys vs. Wellington @ 8:00 p.m.

The junior class will provide the annual pasta dinner on Saturday, January 25. Please come and support the basketball teams and enjoy some delicious pasta, salad, garlic bread, and homemade desserts! The dinner will be served from 4-7 p.m. and you also have the option to pre-order. Pre-order forms and prices are available in the school office and on the website.
