First grade reading program

Recently Mrs. Peria’s first grade class read from the Beka Series Three Baby Robins from The Stepping Stones Book. It’s a play written for first grade and they performed it for a few teachers and for their Reading Buddy program. Each first grader made robin’s masks to encourage children with props during their play. Mrs. Gill’s third grade class spent a lot of time reading to the first graders since the beginning of the year and they were able to witness their first grade buddies perform in front of an audience.
