DCS celebrates anniversary

On Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, Delaware Christian School celebrated their 40th year of Christian education during their game against Tree of Life. Part of the half time show of the varsity game, DCS alumni members were invited to a Knockout competition where they were able to win gift card prizes ranging from $10 to $25. Athletic Director Mr. Grey Huston, Varsity Girls’ basketball coach Jackie Boggs along with Kip Boggs emceed the competition. After the game, everyone was invited to end the celebration with cake and punch near the library; School Board president Tom Houser gave the blessing. Special thanks to Mrs. Chandra Ruminski and to Waterford Signs for providing our 40th anniversary banner, cake and punch.
