104.9 The River’s Mary and Josh visits second and third graders

On Friday, Nov. 15, Mary O’Brien and Josh Hooper from 104.9 The River visited Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Gill’s classrooms to record the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance. They answered questions from students, took pictures, signed autographs and gave the students stickers, car decals and crayons. Mary is the sister of second grader Sara Schiffel and hung out with her during lunch and went to recess with the class. Everyone enjoyed having these special visitors.
Every morning around 8:20 a.m., area schools, families and other groups may be heard reciting the Pledge on The River. Make sure to tune your radio in on Nov. 29 to hear Mrs. Gill’s third grade class and Dec. 4 to hear Mrs. Morgan’s class deliver the Pledge of Allegiance.
