Winners of the American Red Cross Writing Contest

Delaware Christian School was honored to have two students selected as winners in the American Red Cross Heroes writing contest.  The American Red Cross invited local students to share their creativity by entering their original essays. The essay had to answer the question, "What is a Hero?"  The contest was open to all Delaware county students in grades K-12. There were six winners selected and two were DCS students: Emily Parrish, grade 10, and Patty B., grade 4.  The two students and Elementary Administrator, Mrs. Jane Miner, attended The American Red Cross Heroes Breakfast on November 5 in Ohio Wesleyan University’s Benes Room. Congratulations to these two students!
